What an amazing opportunity I have been given—to teach and support homeschooling families! Since receiving my education degree from the University of Kentucky, I have had the privilege of teaching in a variety of environments.
I began my teaching career in public elementary schools, spending seven years in Georgia and California. I took time at home when my children were born but later began teaching in a hybrid program while they attended. I have taught in this model for the past 10 years, most of which also included homeschooling my own children.
Outside of school, I teach, mentor, and disciple middle and high school students in various settings because I am passionate about students knowing their identity and being firmly rooted in God’s Word. I enjoy cooking, running, and being outside.
My husband and I have four children. Our two oldest are at the University of Kentucky (my alma mater), while my twins are still in high school. We love to travel together and especially love visiting my husband’s family in British Colombia.
I am thrilled to be part of a school that offers excellence in education while also allowing space for family and faith!
