A Learnwell Co-op
So are you one of the many parents who have decided to organize a homeschool co-op for your community? That’s great!
Learnwell would love to support you in creating a homeschool co-op. We’ve been supporting homeschool families since 2017 and have developed resources and tools that could be just what you need to get your own homeschool co-op off the ground.
Option 1: The Informal Co-Op
All the families in your co-op community can enroll in the Learnwell Navigator (or Learnwell Navigator+) program individually, and then use the lesson plans, resources, coaching and other great tools that Learnwell provides as you learn and teach together. Together with your co-op community, you can decide how many days each week you want your students to be learning together, and how you want to divvy up the teaching load. (For example, some co-ops will decide to allow different adults to “own” different subjects based on areas of interest/expertise, while others may have parents take turns teaching students based on days.)
Option 2: The Formal (Supported) Co-op
- If you and your community like the idea of a co-op but either don’t know where to start, or feel like you may benefit from some extra support, we’d love to help!
- We understand there are a lot of considerations in starting something new, and a lot of logistics to work out with the families involved.
- Our Formal Co-op Coaching option will give you all the support you need, and comes with additional pricing perks just for fun:
Coaching for the co-op organizer
or leader
You’ll get a one hour 1:1 coaching session in the summer, or before you begin the co-op to help you think through all the logistics and identify how to best proceed for your specific group. We’ll also provide training and coaching for how to share the teaching load among your parents, and helpful tips for establishing a positive co-learning environment. Additionally, you’ll be able to benefit from monthly 1:1 or small-group coaching calls where you can ask questions and learn strategies for new relevant topics each month.
We know your time is valuable so these sessions are always geared towards maximizing your time, energy and efficacy for the long-haul.
Discounted “bulk” pricing for your families joining your co-op
We offer discounted pricing for each family joining your co-op if you’re part of our coaching program for the year.
