Welcome to Learnwell Collective

At Learnwell, our admissions process provides relational opportunities to learn about our school community. We are here to answer your questions and shepherd you through the admissions process. Choosing a school for your child is an important decision, and we are honored to support you in this journey.

Sign up for a Discover Learnwell Event

During this mandatory step in the admissions process, you will have a chance to hear from various staff members including our principal and founder, Dr. Melissa Shipman, who will share about the heartbeat of the school as well as “a day in the life” of a Learnwell student.  The second portion of the event will be a short tour where you will have an opportunity to walk around the school to see classrooms and curriculum.  The Admissions Team will be available throughout the evening to answer your questions. Come learn more about this Georgia homeschool hybrid.

Schedule an Optional Tour

Parents and student applicants are invited to sign up for an optional tour of the school.  Click below to sign up for a tour.

Submit an Application

After your attendance at a Discover Learnwell event, you will receive a link for a student application. If you feel the Learnwell Collective community is a good fit for your family, you may complete and submit the application at this time.

Letter of Recommendation:

A Letter of Recommendation is required for each applicant. When completing the online application, you will be asked to submit the name and email address of your child’s current teacher, or if you exclusively homeschool, an adult who has led or worked with your child at church or in activities or sports.

Submit Transcripts

Applicants must submit report cards, transcripts, or a summary of homeschool activities and curriculum for the two previous years before the Family Interview is scheduled.

If your student has an IEP or has been diagnosed with any learning differences, please submit supporting documentation to the Admissions Department.

Schedule a Family Interview

The informal Family Interview typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes and provides an opportunity for us to get to know one another and answer any additional questions you have about our Learnwell.

Acceptance Letters:

Correspondence regarding acceptance will be sent via email on the 10th of every month.

Receive your Enrollment Packet

Upon receiving your student’s acceptance letter, you will need to secure your student’s placement at Learnwell by completing and submitting the online enrollment packet.
